ACCOMMODATIONS
Quality Suites in San Luis Obispo is our partnered hotel. This hotel offers spacious two-room suites, complimentary "cooked to order" breakfast, complimentary airport/train shuttle, and an evening manager's cocktail reception that includes complimentary beverages and snacks. If you want to share a room with another student these rooms are very comfortable because of the "suite" setup.
Each student can book her/his reservation directly with the hotel. Our negotiated rate for our group is $165.00 per night for each suite (excluding taxes). Please call 805.541.5001 with the group name Beads on the Vine.

TRAVEL
To help you plan your travel please be aware that workshops run 9:30am thru 4:30pm every day (Friday - Sunday). We encourage all students to attend the entire retreat for maximal benefit. If you are arriving from out of town we recommend you arrive for the event no later than Thursday evening. The Meet the Teachers & Welcome Reception begin on Thursday evening and The Marketplace will open for students of Beads on the Vine on Thursday in the courtyard at Quality Suites. The Bonus Workshop is on Wednesday.
Travel into San Luis Obispo is convenient and easy via airlines or train. For information on train schedules see www.amtrak.com. For air travel American, Delta, US. Airways, and United (Skywest) service the San Luis Obispo airport. Once you arrive via airplane or train our partner hotel provides complimentary pick-up/drop-off. Beads On The Vine organizers provide daily transportation from the hotel to the vineyard (round-trip). If you enjoy walking, our partner hotel Quality Suites is approximately 8 blocks from the middle of town. We highly recommend you bring comfortable walking shoes and a sweater since San Luis Obispo gets chilly in the evenings. Evening strolls around the quaint downtown are very enjoyable.
If you live in the San Luis Obispo area and will not be staying at the hotel, and want to drive directly to Edna Valley Vineyard we recommend you arrive no later than 9:15am to allow you time to setup your workspace. We will provide vineyard directions and a map at the Welcome Reception.
